Just going to go straight to the point -- I haven't been online, on my blog specifically, because I have been busy with interviews and work. ANYWAY!

Lecler is a UK brand, and is, I beliave fairly new. They currently have three masks, two of which I have already tried. These masks sent to me for free in return for my honest review, by the way. The three masks are Intense Hydration, Express-Refresh, and Anti-Aging.



My skin type:
I have Combination skin. Since I live in a warmer place, it's leaning towards oily, which only means my skin is dehydrated.

I also have large pores, which is usually clogged and acne prone, and post inflammation hyperpigmentation.


Ingredients:

Two of the ingredients in this sheet mask, I've read, are mannitol and two forms of HA (hyaluronic acid). Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in out skin, along with collagen. It is mostly found in our joints and eyes. Mannitol is a sugar based hexahydric alcohol (these are reduced sugars), which is found in trees, marine algae, and some mushrooms. It is used as a humectant. In a study I've read, HA + Mannitol was injected into the skin as a treatment for aging. It was very effective, and this being topical, I think works just as well. The other ingredients I want to mention is Aloe Vera, Hydrolyzed Silk, and Calendula. Aloe Vera is great for soothing and hydrating. Hydrolyzed Silk is a protein used as a humectant (I LOVE this). Calendula has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, which is great for dry skin, especially the dry, damaged kind.

The Mask:

There are two outer layers before the actual sheet mask. The "pearl" white layer (as some brands like to call it), and a slightly thicker blue sheet. In the middle is the thin sheet mask that goes on your face. It is a bit difficult to pull the blue sheet away from the actual sheet mask, so be careful because the mask. Don't worry about ripping it, because it's actually very sturdy for a thin mask.



Essence:

1. Open the pack and pull out the mask. Be careful not to spill the extra essence.
2. Carefully pull apart the layers of masks. 
3. Carefully pull off the first layer, which is the pearly/plastic film
4. The blue sheet is not the silk sheet, so this is the second layer you need to remove. 
5. You can place the softer side, this is the silk sheet, on your face, or do what I do and pull it off first.
6. Reposition the silk sheet on your face, be careful not to tear it,  as it is super soft and soaked with essence.
7. Leave for 20 minutes
8. Remove mask from bottom to top
9. Pat remaining essence in to your skin

The instructions say to use for 20 minutes, but I pushed the limit a little and used it for about 30-35 minutes. By then the mask already starting to feel dry. Don't let your sheet mask dry out on your face, or it will suck out the moisture from your skin.

Immediate Post Masking: 

I just realized that my eye brows look crazy under the sheet mask. LoL! . Anyway, tried the @lecler_uk mask last night. These were sent me in return for my honest review. . This was surprisingly hydrating. At first I thought that it didn't do much post masking, but after a few minutes, the essence had absorbed into my skin and it felt soft and supple. Like it had a shot of hydration. It also helped my irritated pimple on my cheek to calm down, which made it smaller. There are three layers on this mask, though, and it might be confusing at first. The middle layer is the one that goes on your face. There was also so much essence! I used it on my elbows, knees, and décolleté. Hmmm it was lovely. . Has anyone else tried this mask? I recommend it. It's a tad pricey, but it is SO lovely on the skin. 👌🏼 . . Last thoughts:
GREAT sheet mask! I definitely think this sheet mask has yielded wonderful results. I felt as though I didn't need to do the rest of my skincare routine, so i just added a sleeping mask (night cream) and went to bed. I love how light it feels on my skin. I give this a 5/5😁.
